Driveway Finance is sort of like Yoda when measuring on a level of both great custom service and the overall service that they provide. Long story short: I live in Northern WA state and found a truck down in Medford, Oregon at a Ford Dealership. It was a real challenge dealing with my local banks and credit unions in WA state, (Even the ones that I have well established business and personal accounts with) as it would have been an out of state purchase. Simply put, Driveway said yes when a several other places said no and on top of that I with given an attractive rate. I will even go as far to say that they saved the day! Now 4 month into my journey with them, I have had to call a couple of times. Mainly to ask a couple of questions about their mobile app, setting up autopay, etc. and have found their agents to be next level pleasant and helpful. It is sort of far out statement to say that I value the relationship with an auto lender, but with them I really do. It is nice to be able to consider a lender as a partner. Both the Mobile and Website is pretty easy to use. Good place to deal with and I highly recommend having your dealer check with them to see if they are a good fit your whatever you are looking purchase.

Find another finance company. Purchased a car on June 10th, and was involved in a car accident with an animal less than 30 days into the loan. My assurance company deemed the vehicle a total loss and sent the check to Driveway. However, they refused to apply the check to my loan stating that they were waiting for the title. As a result, my credit score has dropped 65 plus points, limiting my ability to get a new vehicle. No one in the company thought to place the account on hold until things were resolved with the title or the gap claim. Not only did I suffer major injuries, seizures and a post-accident concussion, I lost my dog because she broke her back and had a severed spine. This is the most insensitive company I have ever had the displeasure to engage with. I am astounding that these big corporations do business in this way. This update is being submitted on 9/26. I was able to speak with a supervisor in the insurance department by the name of Sarah. She was willing to assist me in this process.

So we purchased a vehicle in April through Driveway financial and unfortunately that vehicle was totaled in October. My wife went back to them to get another vehicle and was approved signed all the paperwork paid the down payment and was given a delivery day. Approximately two hours before we were supposed to get the new vehicle we get a call saying we can not get the vehicle until the previous loan was paid in full, none of this was told to us prior to that time. Now it has been several days and still no vehicle nor even our money back. It feels very much like a scam. The new title has been signed by my wife and we have a payment due date for the new vehicle loan.

I will recommend Drive way to anybody in Minnesota. We have got car within 2 weeks, full of gas and no damage at all. We have got the title after 29 days (this is normal and even fast). Overall, I'm happy with the service. 4.5 stars.

The process went smoother then I expected their was an agent there every step of the way to answer any questions I had and/or support me all processing of my purchase. The only issue I had was the rims on my vehicle had acquired some mild damage during transport. I am currently working with my agent to get this issue resolved.

Hello, I would like to share my experience with driveway. I purchased my VW ID4 from them and while the initial customer service representative Dolores was of immense help, everyone after that was just not up to par. There is no sense of responsibility on their end. I made a cash purchase of 60k and i was the one doing the check ins and verification of who i was speaking to. I would get random calls from different departments without any introductions as to who would be taking care of me. I would keep calling and texting different departments to find out updates about my car. I am giving 2 stars only because I received my car at some point I thought I was getting scammed. Buying cars from driveway is not a good idea they make it seem like you are purchasing Mcdonalds with a coupon. They have no sense of prioritizing the customers needs and wants. I had to have multiple arguments just to get my registration done. The website itself is very good but I recommend that they invest in proper communication skills between the representatives and customer. A proper line of communication with who will be taking care of the customer and what departments will be involved. Thank you!
